I was scrolling through Instagram (as one does) and kept seeing cute Valentine’s Day desserts. It not only made me hungry but inspired me to get creative. I’ve been on a bit of a cooking/baking hiatus so I thought to myself, “what can I do that is minimal effort but still looks/tastes good?”
I hoped in the car, drove to Dunkin Donuts and picked up my personal favorite, chocolate glazed! Next thing to pick up was white chocolate chips & food coloring from the grocery store. A donut might have gotten eaten on the way there…
After I had all my supplies, I drove home and got to work. All I really had to do was melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave, add a couple drops of red food coloring and voila! I just drizzled my pink chocolate over the tops of the donuts but you could get fancy with spices and do different designs – the sky’s the limit!
Add a cute Hazel Paperie gift tag and you’ve got yourself a seriously delicious Valentine’s Day treat to give to friends/family/neighbors!
